Description:

Citylyzer is an open-source 3D software visualization plug- in for the Eclipse framework, it provides a visualization of a given Java Project like a city

Note: it doesn't work for Intel Based MacOSX

Metrics mapping:

• A class is mapped to a building
• Building height corresponds to the number of methods
• Building width/length corresponds to the number of attributes
• Packages (and its hierarchy) are represented as districts and sub-districts

This plug-in is built on top of open-source plug-in X-Ray. Please notice Installation instr uction directly for the official page.

Version 0.9.0 provides:

• 3 positioning layouts
• Navigability with keyboard
• Interaction from editor to model
• Scalability

Next versions will add new features:

• Availability for MacOSX Intel Based
• Selection of buildings
• Map more metrics
• Choosing coloring schema
